AFRA Handling Furniture Standards Lite

FURN_OFFICE


This course is for Office Employees who handle customer inquiries, complaints etc.
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to handle furniture and effects, and to apply basic principles and routine procedures in a range of furniture removal contexts in accordance with relevant industry codes of practice. It includes preparing for removal, moving furniture items in accordance with the removal plan and loading/unloading furniture onto/from the removal vehicle. Work is performed under limited or minimum supervision generally within a team environment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

AFRA Packing & Unpacking Operations

PACK_UNPACK

AFRA Packing & Packing has been designed for employees in the Removals Industry that carry out duties of packing and unpacking client's possessions for removal, eg:  Drivers, Packers, Offsiders etc.


This course supplies trainees with the knowledge to help them:

1. How to organise work area for a removal
2. Identifying hazards
3. Preparing for packing
4. Packing and preparing
5. Unpacking and unwrapping
6. Assessments
    a) Quiz
    b) On the job assessment by Manager/Supervisor

AFRA Packing Standards Lite

PACK_OFFICE


This course is for Office Employees who handle customer inquiries, complaints etc.
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to pack and unpack cartons during a removal, in compliance with relevant industry codes of practice in a range of furniture removal contexts.  It includes preparing for packing, packing and unpacking cartons, and completing packing/unpacking processes work is performed under limited or minimum supervision generally within a team environment.

 

Allied Workplace Health & Safety

ALLIED_WHS

The Allied Moving Services Workplace Health & Safety course has been designed for all ALLIED EMPLOYEES in the Removals Industry.

This course supplies trainees with the knowledge to help them:
1. WH&S Management
2. Safe Driving - Managing Fatigue, Driving Hazards, Driver's Documentation
3. Workplace Procedures

They will learn how to identify workplace risks, hazards and potential accidents.  In addition, it provides information on the correct policies and procedures relating to any risks, hazards or accidents in the workplace. 

Chain of Responsibility Employee

Chain of Responsibility (CoR) course has been designed for drivers, loaders, packers etc. 
This course supplies trainees with the skills and knowledge to help them identify, apply and follow the CoR legislation, regulations and workplace safety procedures.  In addition, what are their responsibilities in relation to heavy vehicles pertaining to their job role.

Chain of Responsibility (CoR) course has been designed for business owners, operations, schedulers and members of management.

This course supplies trainees with the skills and knowledge to help them identify, apply and follow the CoR legislation, regulations and workplace safety procedures.  In addition, what are their responsibilities in relation to heavy vehicles pertaining to their job role.

This course supplies trainees with the skills and knowledge to help them identify, apply and follow the CoR legislation, regulations and workplace safety procedures.  In addition, what are their responsibilities in relation to heavy vehicles pertaining to their job role.
